BO CHAIR

Bo Dining Chair by Makoto Koizumi for Miyazaki Chair. Inspired by the Windsor Chair as a result of a meeting between designer Koizumi and Japanese Windsor Chair master Mr Murakami. It wasn’t until 30 years after Murakami’s passing that Koizumi pursued the idea aiming to honour Murakami’s legacy. The combination of the traditional construction method of the Windsor and Miyazaki’s craft techniques results in a slender yet sturdy dining chair. Featuring twisted back pillar and round bars which have been arranged at various angles to provide firm support and comfort to the user. With a practical width of 42cm Bo has been designed to tuck under the dining table maximizing space efficiency making it an ideal solution for compact dining areas.
